Frequently Asked Questions

Septic Tank Pumping FAQ's

It is recommended to get your septic tank pumped every 3-5 years, depending on the size of your tank and the number of people in your household.
Signs that your septic tank may need to be pumped include slow draining sinks or toilets, unpleasant odors, or sewage backups in your home or yard.
Our technicians will first locate and uncover your septic tank. Then, using specialized equipment, they will pump out the solid and liquid waste from the tank and dispose of it properly.
The duration of a septic tank pumping service can vary depending on the size of the tank and the amount of waste that needs to be removed. Typically, it takes 1-2 hours.

It is recommended to clear the area around your septic tank and have a rough idea of the distance from the tank (if located) to the closest area a large truck can park.

We offer tank locating using ground probes, push-rod sewer cameras and frequency locators. We hand dig tank lids up to 3ft. in depth and will suggest for excavation beyond that.

Grease Trap Pumping FAQ's

A grease trap captures fats, oils, and grease (FOG) from commercial kitchens and prevents them from entering the wastewater/sewer system.
The frequency of grease trap pumping depends on the size of the trap, the amount of FOG generated by your kitchen, and any mandates enforced by your local environmental management agency. Typically, it is recommended to have it pumped every 3 months for outdoor gravity grease interceptors and 1-3 months for indoor hydromechanical grease traps.
If a grease trap is not pumped regularly, FOG can build up and cause blockages in your plumbing system, leading to backups, odors, and potential kitchen closures. Additionally, prolonged exposure of grease will deteriorate concrete (common outdoor tank material).
Our technicians will first locate and safely uncover your grease trap. Then, using vacuum trucks and pressure washers, they will fully evacuate the grease trap waste, wash and scrape the tank, inspect for system issues and dispose at a wastewater treatment facility. A service checklist and photos from the job will be sent to your email.
It is not recommended to dispose of FOG down the drain or in the trash. Our company offers specialized services to keep you compliant and your system operating correctly.

Used Cooking Oil Collection FAQ's

Recycling used cooking oil reduces the amount of waste in landfills and can be repurposed into biodiesel, a renewable energy source. High volumes of oil may also qualify for cash rebates.
The frequency of used cooking oil collection depends on the amount of oil your business generates. Our team takes the guesswork out of this process by matching the container size and service frequency to your specific needs. Rarely will customers have to call to manually schedule service.

We collect all types of cooking oil, including vegetable oil, canola oil, soybean oil, and more. We do NOT collect motor oil or other petroleum products.

Our used cooking oil collection service is typically free of charge, and we may even offer a rebate for certain amounts of oil collected.
We provide used cooking oil dumpsters ranging in size from 50 – 300 gallons. For larger accounts we may offer used oil pumping systems.
